Norton Estate was acquired by the present owners, Mr & Mrs Hickman, in 1992.  The original barns dating from 1840 and built from local stone, have been sympathetically converted and carefully furnished by Mrs Hickman retaining many of their original features.  

Norton is a 2,000 acre estate surrounded by beautiful rolling countryside, you are welcome to walk the estate and explore the surrounding area.

Each of the five cottages opens on to its own garden area with furniture.  They are grouped around a central courtyard with tennis courts, indoor heated swimming pool and gymnasium.

All cottages have wheelchair access and facilities for the disabled.

Each cottage offers colour television, radio/cassette player, microwave oven, dishwasher, freezer, garden area, patio furniture, duvets, linen and towels.  Electricity, including electric fire and full central heating is within the tariff.  There are 2 shared utility rooms and parking.  The nearest shops are about three quarters of a mile away.

Shooting, fishing and horse riding are available by arrangement.  Pets are not allowed.
